Talía Falcón Nizarane - Visual Artist
1997, Havana, Cuba. She is an artist working mainly with installation and performance art. Her work deals with the topic of the social role of art.
She studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte ISA in Havana before attending the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2018 she was granted a stay at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, Germany. In 2020 she was selected as an Artist in Residence at ARE Holland, The Netherlands. Her work is in the Bernardo Quetglas Collection and has been shown at the 13th Havana Biennial, the ACT 2020 Performance Festival der Schweizer Kunsthochschulen, the Allée Rentrée Art Festival Enschede, and at Concordia and XPO Art Galleries Enschede.
